Privacy policy

What we collect when you enquire, what we do with it, and how to ask us about it.

Who we are

CBR Wheels is a wheel, tyre and fitting workshop at 1/10 Townshend St, Phillip ACT 2606. In this policy "we" and "us" means CBR Wheels.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website we receive what you type into the form:

  • your name, and your phone number and/or email address
  • your vehicle, if you tell us
  • your message, and the product you asked about, if any
  • the page of the website you sent it from

If you call, email or visit, we keep what you tell us that we need to quote, order, fit or warranty your wheels and tyres.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry, check what fits your vehicle and give you a price
  • to order, fit and follow up on your job, including any warranty claim
  • to keep the business records the law asks us to keep

We will not use your details to send you marketing unless you ask us to.

Where it is kept and who sees it

Website enquiries are saved in the website's password-protected admin area and emailed to our inbox. Only CBR Wheels staff can see them. The companies that host our website and email store that data for us. We do not share your details with anyone else unless you ask us to (a supplier ordering a part for your vehicle, for example) or the law requires it.

Cookies and other websites

This website uses one cookie to make the site work while you browse. We do not use advertising cookies. Some pages show content from other services, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Maps, on the Contact page
  • our Instagram feed, shown through SociableKIT, on the home and Gallery pages
  • public code libraries (cdnjs, jsDelivr) that deliver some of the page's scripts

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for as long as the law requires for business records. After that we delete them.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete an enquiry. Call (02) 6147 1042 or email info.ozzywheels@gmail.com and we will sort it out.

Concerns

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first so we can fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
